And now the news:

---------- CMT Europe next to go?
(source: Sat-ND)

Gaylord Entertainment, which owns the music channel CMT, which
broadcasts country music 24-hours a day, is planning to cease broadcasts
on its European channel, originally called CMT Europe. The channel is
currently recording huge losses in money: about 10 million dollars over
the past two years. Gaylord Entertainment plan to cease the satellite
feed which is used to supply all cable companies in Europe (presumably
the encrypted channel on Intelsat 605). It is not yet known whether CMT
Europe will cease in Europe's digital packages.
