---------- Rendez-Vous to leave HotBird 2
Rendez-Vous/Eurotica to slated to leave Eutelsat HotBird 2 by the end of
the month. The European porn channel currently broadcasts every night
from midnight to four on 11,785 H in D2MAC, but no other channel
currently occupies the daytime frequency. From November that will all
change as, according to Eutelsat, a new 24-hour channel will begin on
this frequency, although it is not yet known which.
---------- New PAL signal on HotBird 3
A new PAL signal has started on HotBird 3, on 12,476 H. At the moment,
all that is displayed are colour bars. No known channel is supposed to
be starting here soon, so let's keep a close eye on this one...

Having recently checked up, it turns out that yesterday's report was
labelled #132 instead of #133. The real #132, which featured articles
concerning SuperShop and TV Norge may not have got through to some
people - it didn't get through to me! Therefore, I have attached the
REAL #132 to the bottom of this report. Please note that yesterday's
report should be known as #133.

---------- ScreenShop - yet another shopping channel
Yet another shopping channel, ScreenShop, has started on Astra. The
all-new order-from-home channel is currently broadcasting on 10,816 V
(tp 56), where AstraVision '96 was previously broadcasting. The channel
would appear to be an all day version of Sell-a-Vision, although at the
time of writing (12.00), it is not known if this channel will continue
all day. The channel is in English, but is also aimed at Germany, the
Netherlands and Scandinavia. It is currently in the clear, so it look
unlikely that it is part of the Sky package (unless it is following by
QVC's example). More news on this channels will follow tomorrow.
---------- TV Norge now only on Thor II
TV Norge has left is long-used frequency on Intelsat 707 of 11,016 H. It
is now only available from its frequency on Thor II. A new digital
package has started on Intelsat 707 on 11,012 H, so it is very unlikely
that this frequency will see analogue transmissions again for a while,
it at all. TV Norge is also available in a few digital package on
Intelsat 707 and Thor II.
