SATCO DX - Updates 20-26 October

This is a summary of the updates at SATCO DX last week.

The package on 11,024 V has moved to 11,664 V, new MPEG-2 data:
SR 7550, FEC 5/6.

The RTL package has started on 12,188 H (tp 89), with a 
copy of what's on 11,914 H (tp 75).


--- Hot Bird 1:  http://www.satcodx.com/hb1.html
The Discovery Channel has left 11,248 H (MPEG-2), moved to
11,288 H.


--- Hot Bird 3:  http://www.satcodx.com/hb3.html
ERT Inernational started on 23 October on 12,284 H,
PAL/clear, 6,60 MHz.


--- Canal Digital on Intelsat 707/Thor 2:
A special Canal Digital chart is now created. For more

--- Intelsat 601 at 34.5W:  http://www.satcodx.com/i601.html
Intelsat 601 replaced Intelsat 603 at 34.5 West on 16 October.
Intelsat 603 will now move to 24.5 West to replace Intelsat 605.

VTV 1/3 has ceased on 3,572 H.

A new digital package has started on 3,560 H, MPEG-2/clear,
SR 22908, FEC 3/4, with this line-up:
Army TV Channel 5, TVT Channel 11, Raj TV, Vijay TV, SCTV
ABN - Asia Business News and MTV.

A CCTV package has started on 3,880 H, MPEG-2/clear,
SR 27684, FEC 7/8, line-up:
CCTV 3 Culture, CCTV 4, CCTV 9

On 20 October ESPN started on 3,800 V, MPEG-2/PowerVu/encrypted,
SR 26470, FEC 7/8, line-up:
ESPN Atlantic Network, ESPN 2, ESPN and ESPN Pacrim Network.

This satellite has now reached geostationary orbit at 61.5 West.

The B-Movie Channel has started on 4,140 V (G7-22), NTSC/clear.
It's in clear for now, but plan to encrypt in VC2+ in the
near future.

have taken place, including a restructuring of the Star Choice

WLBT-TV, the NBC affiliate Jackson in Mississippi, has started
on 3,940 H, NTSC/clear, temporary due to a collapsed tower.

Sirius 2/Cakrawarta 1 are now scheduled to launch with Ariane
on 10 November, 21:48-22:33 UTC (22:48-23:33 CET). Live coverage
is expected on Telecom 2C and Tele-X: 12,605 L
