Almost all of the digital channels haved ceased!
There are now colour bars in MPEG-2/clear on all these frequencies:
 11,466 H / 11,500 H / 11,530 H / 11,541 V / 11,573 V / 11,605 V /
 11,616 H / 11,650 H / 11,680 H / 12,524 V / 12,559 H / 12,591 V /
 12,658 V / 12,692 H.

Hot Bird 3 has completed its move from 29 East to 13 East.
The first official transmissions are expected within a few days.

TV de Mauritanie and RTM 1 have swapped frequencies, new line-up:
3,876 R: RTM 1, SECAM
3,918 R: TV de Mauritanie, PAL

The ASTRO package is on Measat 2 in addition to Measat 1,
frequencies: 11,168 H, 11,540 H and 11,602 H.
This version is mainly for West Malaysia and Indonesia due
to its different footprint.

DirecTV has tested several tps in preparation for the launch
of their digital package early in October.

CNBC has started on 4,165 H, PAL.

XJTV - Xinjiang TV on 4,120 H has switched from PAL to MPEG-2.

The Indovision package on 11,500 H is identical to what's
on 3,500 H. The content of 3,580 H is also found on 11,645 H.

Since 18 September, Indovision is also 3,460 H, MPEG-2/NDS,
with some more TV channels: TVRI, RCTI, SCTV, IVM, TPI and ANTV.

All channels in the Net-Sky package are listed with their
internal numbers, addition of four new channels:
ch 24: Canal Future (replaced WorldNet)
ch 29: Premiere Preview
ch 33: Sexy Hot
ch 34: Nickelodeon

There are no analog transmissions on this satellite, but
several encrypted digital TV channels. Brazilsat B2 mainly
serves as a backup for Brazilsat B1.
Here is a list of some known TV channels: (all digital)
3,650 H: Rede Globo occasional feeds
3,650 V: Rede Transporte (for truck and bus companies)
3,670 V: TV Alterosa
3,670 H: TV Senac
3,690 H: Rede Vinde
3,690 V: TV Rio

Intelsat 803 was successfully launched with Ariane V100 at
23:58 UTC on 23 September. It will initially be located at
27.5 West, and temporary replace Intelsat 601!
In May, Intelsat 803 will be transferred to 21.5 West and
replace Intelsat 515.

Intelsat 804 (to be launched on 16 Dec.) will surprisingly
be located at 64 East, and not 29.5 West!
It will be tested for about five weeks at the test location
at 47 East, then move to 64 East and replace Intelsat 801.

The easiest way to subscribe or unsubscribe, is to send a mail to
satcodx-request@tags1.dn.net with the word subscribe or unsubscribe
in the body (not the subject) of the mail.
