SATCO DX Satellite Chart - Updates 9-15 June

NTV (Russia) is on 11,515 V, MPEG-2/clear

--- Hot Bird 1:  http://www.satcodx.com/hb1.html
PolSat 2 has left 11,348 H due to uplink problems!

--- Eutelsat II f2:  http://www.satcodx.com/e2f2.html
BHT (Bosnia) has left 11,080 H

--- TV-Sat 2:  http://www.satcodx.com/tvsat2.html
TV 1000 Cinema moved from 11,900 L to 11,888 L on 10 June and
Sci-Fi Channel went back on TV-Sat 2, on 11,912 L, D2-MAC/Eurocrypt M.

All tps have been thoroughly tested and test cards are expected
to show up soon...

ATV (Poland) on 11,388 H has switched from PAL to MPEG-2

ARD, ZDF, N 3, WDR, Bayern 3, 3 Sat, ARTE, RTL, RTL 2, Pro Sieben,
Kabel 1, Vox, DSF, N-TV, TM 3, Viva, Der Wetterkanal, EuroSport,
EuroNews, CNN International, NBC Europe, MTV Europe, VH-1 Germany
and TRT International.

ARTE, RTL, RTL 2, Pro Sieben, DSF, N-TV, EuroNews, CNN International,
NBC Europe, MTV Europe and TRT International

Baztab (Iran) has left both its tps on Arabsat 2B and
moved to Asiasat 2: 3,680 H

ART Australia and RAI International have left 3,880 H and
are now only on 3,966 H.

The Disney Channel has started on 3,980 H, MPEG-2.

IRIB TV 2/3/4 (Iran) have left Intelsat 602 and are now only
receivable on Intelsat 801 at 62 East.

Jamahirya Satellite Channel (Libya) has left 4,167 R

There have of course been several updates in these parts of the world
too, but no major stories to mention here. Hopefully next week...

--- Ariane launch schedule:
Major changes to the Ariane launch schedule were announced on 13 June.
The new schedule is like this:

970625 - V 96 - Intelsat 802 (no change)
9707            no launches due to regular annual maintenance work!
970806 - V 98 - PAS 6 (if ready)
970829 - V 99 - Indostar 1 (if ready) & Hot Bird 3
970918 - V100 - Intelsat 803

Sirius 2 (V101) will launch in October/November as earliest,
and won't be ready before 22 October...!
Further changes are likely to happen, so keep an eye on the Satellite
Launches page at SATCO DX for latest news.


--- Intelsat 8 satellites - position changes:
* Intelsat 801 is said to be in prober orbit at 64 East (64 East)
  [comment: This satellite is actually at 62 East, NOT at 64 East!]

* Intelsat 802 still at 174 East, to launch on 25 June.
* Intelsat 803 at 21,3 West
* Intelsat 804 at 29.5 West.
* Intelsat 805 at 55.5 West, not 33.0 East.
* Intelsat 806 at 40.5 West.
