GORIZONT 32, 53 E, SATCO-DX: http://www.satcodx.com/g32.html
-----------
Maybe not for the first time, but a premiere for me, was the txm at
night time of a channel named STS (Kyrillic: CTC) on txpr K1, 11.525
GHz, Rc, regularely occupied by Kanal 6, St. Peterburg. The normal sound
carrier of 6.60 MHz was used.
This was also observed by Joern Krieger in Germany from the Redaktion
SatelliFAX, which, btw, will start with it's own info page in the
beginning of next year, take a look at URL: http://www.satelli-line.de

TURKSAT 1C, 42 East, SATCO-DX: http://www.satcodx.com/t1c.html
----------
SHOW TV has to pause, once again, on the 4th and 5th of December their
regular txm on the Westbeam txpr 6, 11.048 GHz, V, due to a non
compliance with the Turkish broadcasting laws on the 5th of November.

GORIZONT 31, 40.5 East, SATCO-DX: http://www.satcodx.com/g31.html
-----------
Yesterdays early morning txm of NVS on txpr 11, 3.925 GHz, Rc, were not
continued today. Apart from a B&W test card, nothing was to be seen.

HOT BIRD 2, last seen on 29 East, moving west-wards
----------
SATCO-DX: http://www.satcodx.com/hb2.html

The latest Eutelsat satellite ceased test txm and txpr testing
activities on 29 East, and will be, most probably, on the move to 13
degrees East, where it will be taken in operation on the 20th of this
month. A stop of movement could be expected at 14 East, where the txpr
again could be activated for further testing, with a slow adjustment to
the final position shortly thereafter. The same procedure was used with
the deployment of Hot Bird 1, only that satellite came from a more
western position.

ARABSAT 2A, 26 East, SATCO-DX: http://www.satcodx.com/a2a.html
----------
The yesterday started txm of the Kuwait Space Channel on txpr 7, 12.647
GHz, H, were in the late afternoon today NOT identical to the txm on
txpr 21, 4.167 GHz, Rc. On the C-Band txpr a football match between
Kuwait and Saudi Arabia was shown, whereby on the Ku-Band txpr the
normal txm of KCS continued. The C-Band txpr had an on-screen logo in
the upper left of the screen with the normally shown stylized water
tower with in the middle the number 3, e.g. most probably Kuwait Ch 3.

Curiosity: the same football match was in 8 identical versions available
on various txpr of the Arabsat 2A, in Ku- and C-Band, as a live txm.

AMOS 1, 4 West, SATCO-DX: http://www.satcodx.com/amos1.html
------
Amos has again changed channel allocation on the various txpr.
To prevend further confusion of the various active txpr on the Middle
East beam of Amos 1, here again a complete listing of receivable txpr,
at present time:

Txpr 1L	10.968	V	IBA Israel Channel 1, snd 6.60
Txpr 1U	11.005	V	IBA Israel Channel 2, snd 6.60
Txpr 2L	11.052	V	Off
Txpr 2U	11.105	V	Data Txm
Txpr 3L	11.131	V	Off
Txpr 3U	11.175	V	Off
Txpr 4L	11.468	V	IBA CNCT CH1 (color bar test card, prev.txm Ch 1)
Txpr 4U	11.510	V	Off (previous txm Ch 2)
Txpr 5L	11.552	V	Off
Txpr 5U	11.596	V	IBA Israel Channel 3, snd 6.60
Txpr 6L	11.653	V	Empty carrier
Txpr 6U	11.699	V	Off

EXPRESS 2, 14 West, SATCO-DX: http://www.satcodx.com/e2.html
---------
The reception of ORT 1 on txpr 17, 4.125 GHz, Rc, has dramatically
improved since 24 hours. It is as clearly visible now as RTP
International and TV3 on the other txpr. I couldn't find any obvious
reason other than an adjustment of beam direction.

Best regards,

Henk C. Room / Sat-MidEast / Cairo - Egypt
